##### Cyntara is a Custom OT Server that has been actively developed since February 8, 2009.

The Cyntara Wiki is an unofficial knowledge base created primarily by players, for players. The purpose of the Cyntara Wiki is to supplement the official Cyntara Guide and to create a platform for players to share information gained through their adventures and experiences in the world of Cyntara.

Below are some common topics that are of interest to a majority of Cyntarists.

# Common Terminology

This page is designed to outline some of Cyntara’s unique terminology.

  
**Cyntarist** = A popular raid boss. Also the term used to describe a Cyntara player.

**DOT** = Double Overtime Rune - A stronger variation of an SD.

**TOT** = Triple Overtime Rune - An even stronger variation of an SD. Stronger than DOT.

**v1 / v6 / v12-s2** = Version “n”. Refers to an older version of Cyntara. For example, “v12-s2” refers to Cyntara Version 12, Season 2; where v1 is a summer season and v2 is the winter season.

**AP** = Artifact Power. Typically refers to “AP Tokens” or “Artifact Power Tokens”.
